Hell yeah. I left my overnight bag on my boat for a month. Wreaks of diesel. Family can’t stand the smell of diesel and oil smell on my boat. I’ll switch for the smell alone.

So you can use your boat as a solar generator if you have a little cabin on the lake you have a cord running down to your boat you plug your cabin into your solar boat and have all the electricity you need for the cabin and just unplug and have a day out on the lake when you want to on your boat when you return home you plug back into your boat and return to the cabin to relax you can't go wrong with free electricity for your boat and your cabin LOL

5,000 watts for 10,000 pounds @ 5-knots per hour works out to 0.5-watts per pound @ 5-knots per hour. You sometimes have these talks where you talk about the prop, but I am curious regarding the efficiency of the propeller with an electric motor. When I think about it, the efficiency of electric motor is locked in once you buy it. It will be be between 85% to 95% for most EM, but the propeller is another story. Can I improve on the efficiency of the previous Diesel propeller, and what is the “ideal” gear ratio between the the EM and the prop? For instance, there is talk that a folding propeller will improve efficiency. There is, also, talk that the number of blades will affect it as well as the folding of the blades and the angle of the same. If you make another video, I would be interested on this topic.

Just thinking maybe Dimple the shaft to allow the seal Rotary drive screw to grab onto the shaft, as i have seen some back off at times, just remove the Allen screw use a drill to dimple that shaft refitting same and even loctite the threads of same... Belt and Braces... no one wants a leaking shaft gland ... Great Job...
